Historic Preservation Consultant for National Register District Nomination: West Side Neighborhood - Laramie, Wyoming

The Board of County Commissioners for Albany County, Wyoming is once again accepting written proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants that value the rich historic context that exists here in Albany County and the West Side neighborhood for the preparation of a National Register of Historic Places District nomination for a neighborhood in Laramie, WY. We previously did not receive any bids for the project, and have therefore adjusted some of the criteria and extended the time frame for the project to cover 24 months rather than 18 months. Additionally, the Albany County Historic Preservation Board will partner with the contractor and take on more tasks than originally planned. The budget planned for the project is $45,000.

We highly encourage qualified historic preservation specialists to submit a bid through the county portal, linked here, as we believe this project is incredibly important to the history of Laramie, as well as to the residents who reside in the future NRHP district.

Bids can be submitted through the county portal until May 24, 2024 at 3 pm. If you have any difficulties or questions with the county CDN portal, please reach out to Camy Willems (cwillems@albanycountywy.gov). If you have questions about the project itself, please reach out to Karen Bard (ACHPB Chair) at kcbard@charter.net

We look forward to reviewing your proposals! Please share this opportunity far and wide with other historic preservation professionals.
